Job :

Location: Rond-point des Sports – Casablanca
Scope: Morocco (main) – France & Belgium (partial)
Job Context
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a structured international group, a Chief Accountant based in Casablanca (Rond-point des Sports).
The position reports to the Administrative and Financial Director (DAF) based in France.
The Chief Accountant will be mainly in charge of Moroccan accounting, with partial contribution to the accounting work of subsidiaries in France and Belgium, and will rely on a local accounting team in Morocco.
Main Missions

• Supervise and ensure Moroccan general and tax accounting
• Manage tax and social declarations in Morocco
• Participate in monthly and annual closings
• Contribute to the accounting work of the French and Belgian subsidiaries (reviews, controls, assistance)
• Prepare financial reports for the group's DAF
• Ensure compliance with group procedures and standards
• Supervise, support, and develop the skills of the local accounting team
• Collaborate with chartered accountants and auditors

Required profile :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit
• Proven experience in Moroccan accounting
• Knowledge of French and Belgian accounting is an asset
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP (highly desired)
• Very good command of French
• Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills, and team spirit
