Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and academically strong Cost Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background, strong analytical capabilities, and proven expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems and cost allocation methods.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes
• Review inventory valuation and ensure accurate cost of goods sold .
• Support month-end and year-end closing related to cost accounting.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (strong academic record is essential).
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• High analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a strong plus.
