Position Overview

This Financial Analyst role supports the International Division of First Abu Dhabi Bank by preparing accurate financial results, managing the month-end cycle, contributing to budgeting and forecasting, and delivering data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. The position plays a key role in maintaining governance standards, supporting country finance teams, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and verify International Division financial results for management review

* Deliver month-end actuals, budgets, and forecasts within agreed timelines

* Assist in explaining results and supporting investor reporting cycles as required

* Report monthly actuals and ensure accuracy, highlighting issues where necessary

* Prepare monthly customer financials alongside geography-based reporting

* Support compilation of budget submissions for the International Division

* Gather insights from countries to support forecast and pipeline assessments

* Coordinate with Head Office and international teams to ensure complete and accurate forecasts

* Highlight risks and opportunities to enhance financial performance

* Produce analytical reports using financial models to support month-end reviews

* Prepare multi-perspective analysis covering balance sheet, capital, and P&L impact

* Develop business review presentations for senior management

* Investigate integrity of financial information reported by countries across accounting, tax, and regulatory dimensions

* Support country finance teams with Head Office engagement for financial control issues

* Assist in resolving control or audit-related concerns

* Support Representative Offices with monthly financial operations, payments, funding, and journal processing

* Verify trial balances with Group Financial Control

* Prepare accounting entries, initiate payments, and handle budgeting for Rep Offices

* Maintain frameworks for International Division performance management

* Support International CFO, CIB CFO, and FP&A teams with required financial insights

* Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information

Ideal Profile

* Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Mathematics

* Professional qualifications preferred: ACA, CPA, MBA

* Minimum 2 3 years of experience in finance, with financial modelling exposure preferred

* Strong ability to prepare high-quality financial models and presentations

* Fluent in spoken and written English

* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

* Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach

* Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
