Park Hyatt Doha is looking for a meticulous and strategic Chief Accountant to join our Finance team in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha. This is a pivotal managerial role designed for an individual who excels in financial integrity, team leadership, and the art of "rare and unexpected" service—even behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily finance operations and month-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Hyatt’s global internal controls.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
• Manage tax compliance and external audit requirements in Qatar.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3–5 years in a senior accounting role within a 5-star hotel environment. Prior experience in the Middle East is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA) is a significant advantage.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). 

  
  

• Experience with hospitality software (SUN Systems, Opera, Simphony, or Birchstreet).

  
  

• Proven ability to manage a diverse team and communicate financial data to non-finance managers.

  
  

• Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong asset for local regulatory dealings.
