Elite is Hiring: General Accountant

About Elite
Elite is a leading company in the construction industry and a fast-growing organization in the waste management sector. We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team and support the company’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and all sub-ledgers (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, etc.).

- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and monthly management reports.

- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure proper fund management.

- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collection follow-ups.

- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost control activities.

- Participate in tax preparation and filings, ensuring compliance with Egyptian and Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Zakat, etc.).

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

- Collaborate with internal departments to support financial decision-making and process efficiency.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in Egypt or the GCC region.

- Strong knowledge of Egyptian and Saudi tax regulations and compliance.

- ERP system experience (Odoo is preferred).

- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Conditions

- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Location: 1st Settlement, New Cairo

- Days off: Friday & Saturday
