Job Title: General Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a General Accountant with experience in the construction/contracting field to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and support project-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and review daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger, and trial balance.
• Follow up on suppliers, subcontractors, and client accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and closing entries.
• Assist in preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Handle taxes, payroll, and governmental requirements when needed.
• Support project accounting, including cost tracking and expense allocation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience as a General Accountant, preferably in construction/contracting companies.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in Accounting
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
