We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards, using accounting software to streamline the process and enhance accuracy.
2. Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts to ensure the integrity of financial data, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly to maintain reliability in financial reporting.
3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide management with insights into the company's financial performance and position.
4. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections, utilizing financial software to track and optimize cash flow.
5. Support the annual budgeting process by providing financial data and analysis, collaborating with department heads to align budgets with strategic goals and objectives.
6. Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing reports that highlight key metrics and trends, enabling management to make informed business decisions.
7. Participate in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries to ensure compliance and transparency in financial practices.
8. Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures, safeguarding company assets and ensuring operational efficiency through best practices.
9. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations, proactively adapting accounting practices to maintain compliance and enhance financial reporting.
