Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join our gold and precious metals trading company in Dubai. The role involves reviewing internal controls, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and AML/CFT requirements, and supporting risk management across trading, finance, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits across trading, finance, inventory, and compliance functions

Review and monitor AML/KYC procedures, source of funds, and source of gold documentation

Ensure compliance with UAE laws, DMCC regulations, and internal policies

Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions

Prepare internal audit reports and present findings to management

Support external audits, bank reviews, and regulatory inspections

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 3–7 years experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk

Experience in gold trading, commodities, or financial services preferred

Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and UAE regulatory requirements

Professional certifications (CIA, ACCA, CPA, CAMS) are an advantage

Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
