Inviting applications for the role of General Ledger -Manger - English -Hybrid- Cairo.
In this role, you will lead and empower accounting team, ensuring accurate ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting through collaboration and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) operations, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Financial Reporting processes across multiple entities and geographies.
- Oversee and ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Drive the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives and regulatory standards.
- Lead KPI tracking and performance reviews, delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership and clients to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, development plans, and performance management.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationship management, ensuring service excellence, addressing escalations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Compliance to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
- Lead process optimization and automation initiatives, leveraging AI tools and ERP enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead internal and external audit engagements, ensuring timely and accurate data provisioning, issue resolution, and compliance with audit requirements.

Job Requirements
- Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum years of progressive experience in General Ledger and R2R operations, with minimum years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), including financial modules, reporting tools, and workflow automation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements, with proven experience in applying accounting standards to complex business scenarios.
- Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level), with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, managing performance, and driving employee engagement.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and deliver value-added insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to interpret financial trends and variances.
- Experience in process transformation, automation , and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French) is an advantage in a global delivery environment.
