About the job Senior General Accountant (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior General Accountant with strong expertise in Odoo ERP (Accounting & Implementation). The candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, leading Odoo accounting implementation, and ensuring accurate financial records up to the preparation and delivery of Trial Balances.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance Responsibilities
Handle the full accounting cycle including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Bank & Cash reconciliations
Accruals and provisions
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Trial Balances.
Ensure proper posting of journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
Review and reconcile intercompany transactions (if applicable).
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in preparation of financial statements when required.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Odoo Implementation Responsibilities
Lead and execute Odoo Accounting module implementation.
Configure:
Chart of Accounts
Taxes
Journals
Fiscal positions
Multi-company and multi-currency setups (if applicable)

Migrate opening balances and historical data into Odoo.

Ensure correct mapping between legacy systems and Odoo.
Validate accounting workflows and ensure system accuracy.
Train finance team users on Odoo accounting processes.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
Work closely with management to customize accounting workflows where needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using Odoo (Accounting & Implementation).
Strong experience as a Senior General Accountant.
Proven experience delivering complete Trial Balances independently.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with multi-entity environments is a plus.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise versions.
Experience in service-based companies.
Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects.
