Minimum Education Level

Responsibilities

1. Oversee cash transactions, cash reconciliations, account payments, account receivables and other accounting duties according to hotel policies.

2. Train newly hired cashiers on accounting procedures and Hotel policies.

3. Assist in shrink awareness programs and provide corrective actions.

4. Supervise checkout stations on regular basis.

5. Balance daily cash, credit card, and room charge accounts

6. Manage operations in the absence of Accounting Manager.

7. Financial and operational reports, or the so-called night audit reports, are prepared and distributed.

8. Verify accuracy of reservations, room rates, and payments

9. Any non-automated or manual back-ups are performed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

2. Previous experience in hotel operations or accounting is preferred.

3. Experience with Opera and Symphony/Micros software.

4. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

5. Basic computer and accounting system skills.

6. Ability to work independently during overnight hours.

7. Reliable, punctual, and profession.
