Job Description

We are seeking a Cost Accountant with solid experience in costing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing production costs, monitoring expenses, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role involves coordination with procurement, production, and sales teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and monitor monthly and annual cost reports.
Analyze production costs and expenses and provide recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Manage supplier accounts: invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
Manage customer accounts: invoicing, collections, and outstanding balances.
Perform account reconciliations with banks, suppliers, and customers as needed.
Assist in preparing cost budgets and financial forecasts.
Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure cost accuracy.
Support internal and external audits related to costs.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or any integrated accounting software).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across departments.
Experience in preparing financial reports and cost analysis.
