Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the automotive industry and proven experience within the GCC region. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management through accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Handle accounting for vehicle sales, service operations, spare parts, incentives, and commissions
• Monitor and control inventory accounting for vehicles and spare parts, including valuation and aging
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, IFRS, and local statutory requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Maintain strong internal controls and support process improvements
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, and Operations
• Utilize ERP / Dealer Management Systems for accurate financial tracking and reporting

Skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with mandatory automotive industry exposure
• Prior GCC experience is required
• Strong working knowledge of VAT and financial regulations in the GCC
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Keyloop/Autoline, CDK or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA (or currently pursuing)
• Experience in multi-branch or group-level operations
• Exposure to automotive dealership accounting systems
