A large energy organization is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to manage accounting for high-value infrastructure and IT assets. The role requires hands-on experience in fixed asset accounting within asset-intensive environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and control the fixed asset register for infrastructure and IT assets.
  
• Capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and asset disposals.
  
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  
• Support audits, asset verification, and reconciliation processes.
  
• Partner with IT, procurement, and engineering teams on asset tracking and valuation.
  

RequirementsRequirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• Minimum 5 years of fixed asset accounting experience, ideally in oil & gas, utilities, or heavy industry.
  
• Strong exposure to IT asset accounting and large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA) is a strong advantage.
