Job Description

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements for management review.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or entertainment industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Experience with audit processes and liaising with external auditors.
• Ability to work onsite and adapt to a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
