Job description We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Accountant to take charge of the day-to-day accounting operations within our company. The Accountant will not only manage routine accounting tasks but also take a proactive role in analyzing financial data and contribute to the development of more senior-level responsibilities. Responsibilities:· Journal Entry Preparation: Skillfully prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.· Agency Statement Processing: Oversee the preparation and distribution of agency statements, ensuring timely and precise communication with relevant stakeholders.· Cash and Bank Ledger Reconciliations: Conduct meticulous reconciliations of cash and bank ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.· Financial Analysis: Engage in analytical tasks, providing insights into financial data, trends, and potential areas for improvement.· Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned, showcasing versatility and adaptability in handling diverse accounting functions. Qualifications:· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A solid educational foundation in accounting principles and procedures.· 3-5 Years of Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a progressive growth in responsibilities and a commitment to excellence.· Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and contribute to strategic decision-making.· Independence and Team Collaboration: Exhibit the capability to work independently while also collaborating seamlessly within a team environment.· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey financial information to various stakeholders.· Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.· Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
