Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate product cost sheets and BOMs.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor and control cost variances (standard vs. actual) and provide detailed analysis.
- Support monthly closing activities related to cost accounting and inventory valuation.
- Ensure accurate recording of WIP, finished goods, and inventory movements.
- Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Review and validate production reports and consumption rates.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to take full ownership of daily costing operations.
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance from the company location.
