تفاصيل الوظيفة A newly established holding entity within a multinational pharmaceutical group. We manage strategic investments and subsidiaries across the region. We are seeking a skilled PART TIME ACCOUNTANT to establish our financial infrastructure and ensure compliance with UAE regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Setup & Bookkeeping
• Set up the Chart of Accounts tailored for a Holding Company structure.
• Implement and manage accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
• Record all day-to-day transactions, including office expenses (rent, utilities), payroll, and petty cash.
• Perform monthly Bank Reconciliations for corporate accounts.
2. Group Consolidation & Reporting
• Coordinate with finance teams in subsidiary companies to obtain monthly financial data.
• Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements for the Group.
• Manage Inter-company reconciliations (loans, dividends, and share transfers between group subsidiaries in different countries)
• Prepare monthly Management Reports for the Director.
3. Audit & Compliance
• Act as the primary point of contact for the External Auditor for the annual audit.
• Prepare audit schedules and financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations (filing returns if applicable).
• Assist the Director in filing Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) notifications and reports to the Ministry of Finance.
4. Administrative Support
• Assist in processing payroll and WPS (Wage Protection System) for a small team.
• Maintain an organized physical and digital filing system for all financial records (invoices, bank statements, contracts).
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. ACCA/CPA/CA qualification (or part-qualified) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 + years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Specific Expertise:
o Experience with Holding Companies or Multi-entity consolidation is highly desirable.
o Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and IFRS.
o Familiarity with ESR (Economic Substance) requirements.
• Software: Proficiency in cloud accounting software (Zoho/Xero/QuickBooks) and Excel.
• Languages: Fluent in English.
• Visa Status: Candidate must have a valid UAE residence visa (Own Visa/Spouse Visa) with a valid NOC (No Objection Certificate).
