As an Accountant, your role will be central to the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all accounting records and financial reporting. You will play a crucial part in maintaining robust financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making through reliable data, and contributing to the overall financial compliance of the company. Your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting functions. You'll be involved in the meticulous recording of financial transactions, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and assisting with budget preparation and analysis. Managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations will also be key aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will contribute to internal audits and process improvements, ensuring that our financial systems operate smoothly and efficiently. The role also involves supporting the broader finance department with ad-hoc financial projects and analyses, providing you with exposure to diverse financial challenges.

Required profile :

To thrive in this role, a solid educational foundation is essential. Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bac +3 degree. This academic background should ideally be complemented by a specialization in Management, Accounting, or Finance. This ensures that you have the theoretical knowledge and foundational understanding required to excel in the complexities of accounting within the metallurgy sector.

We are looking for individuals who bring a fresh perspective combined with practical experience. An experience ranging from 1 to 3 years in an accounting role is sought. This duration allows for a good grasp of core accounting procedures and the ability to contribute effectively from the outset, while still offering ample opportunities for learning and professional growth within our dynamic industry.

Beyond formal qualifications, specific skills will set you apart. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. Proficiency in accounting software and a good command of Microsoft Excel are fundamental. An analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills are crucial for managing financial data effectively. The ability to work collaboratively within a team, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be highly valued.
