Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, Power Query, and financial reporting tools. The ideal candidate will support the Finance function through development of dynamic dashboards, budgeting and forecasting, and analysis of financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards using Power BI and Power Query.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain budgeting models and forecasting templates in coordination with department heads.
- Assist in building financial models for scenario analysis, project evaluation, and cost control.
2. Dashboard & Data Management
- Create interactive dashboards and visual reports to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Automate recurring reports using Power BI, Power Query, and Excel.
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reports.
3. Compliance and Controls
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support external audits and provide necessary schedules and documentation.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of SOCPA/IFRS standards.
- Experience working with construction, maintenance, or industrial services projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CMA / ACCA / CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a contracting or project-based industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work across departments.
