Trucking Accountant

Location: Port Said Egypt

Job Summary

We are seeking a Trucking Accountant to join our team in Port Said Egypt. The role is responsible for managing trucking-related financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include receiving and recording official receipts calculating and verifying trucking costs and preparing and issuing invoices in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Main job responsibilities:

• Handle daily trucking accounting operations including invoicing payment processing and reconciliation.
• Track monitor and analyze trucking expenses to ensure cost control and efficiency.
• Prepare review and maintain accurate financial records related to trucking activities.
• Support in preparing financial reports summaries and analysis for management.

Competencies / Skills:

• Proficient in computer skills including MS Office (Excel Word Outlook).
• Strong command of the English language (written & spoken).
• Positive and proactive attitude with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance.
• 25 years of relevant experience in accounting or the logistics/transportation industry.
• Must be a resident of Port Said.
