• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Lebanese tax laws, including statutory tax filings and NSSF reporting.
• Proven ability to prepare complete financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, with a solid understanding of consolidation principles for related parties.
• Comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping experience covering all business cycles: Revenue and Receivables, Purchases and Payables, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll, and Cash and Bank.
• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform full bookkeeping and record all accounting transactions with the support of a junior accountant.
• Monitor collections in a timely manner and perform monthly reconciliations for vendors, clients, and bank accounts.
• Prepare daily reports on cash and bank balances.
• Provide ongoing support to the sales team by handling client and vendor requests, including payments, receipts, and account charges.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including all required tax filings.
• Review and supervise the work of junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
