Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for an Accountant specializing in fintech. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling transactions, performing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additional daily tasks include assisting with budgeting and forecasting, maintaining records for audits, and contributing to process improvements in financial workflows, salary range from 12,000EGP up to 15,000EGP according to the assessment and experience.
Qualifications Solid expertise in financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulations Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and transaction reconciliations Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation Knowledge of accounting systems and financial software; familiarity with fintech platforms is a plus Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience in the fintech industry or a similar financial services domain is an asset Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.) Experience: 2 – 4 years in Fintech companies is a MUST(Salary from 12,000EGP to 15,000EGP_ Educational Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university. Professional Experience:- Preparing and accurately recording daily journal entries.- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations, and analyzing variances.- Reviewing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts (GL).- Preparing periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) related to customers, suppliers, and expenses. Technical Skills:- Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably with experience in Odoo.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).- Familiarity with e-invoicing applications. Personal Skills:- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work effectively within a team.- Time management and meeting deadlines.-Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
