Job Overview:
Feathers is a B2B garments supplier supporting local fashion brands with high-quality blank apparel and customized merchandise solutions. We work closely with brands and businesses to bring their products to life, from everyday essentials to branded merchandise.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the company’s ongoing financial operations
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Support daily sales operations by reviewing invoices and pricing accuracy.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Egyptian accounting standards.
- Coordinate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations regularly.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with Egyptian Tax Authority regulations.
- Coordinate with external tax advisor & auditor when needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or creative industry.
- Previous Experience working with ERP system is a must.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work onsite in a collaborative office environment.
