Job Description

• Analyze and record cost information to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and review manufacturing and operational expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and implement cost accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost control processes and improve profitability.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary cost data and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and reconcile discrepancies.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance cost efficiency and streamline accounting processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
• Experience supporting audits and preparing cost-related documentation.
