The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy of financial documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves bookkeeping, budgeting, reconciliations, and assisting with audits and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Support internal and external audits.
Manage tax filings and statutory payments.
Provide financial insights and support to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
