Job Description
We are looking for a General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our team in the Finance Department. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and accurate management of financial transactions and accounts within the company.
- Journal Entries & Data Management: Record daily financial transactions, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications in the general ledger.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, intercompany accounts, and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Month-End/Year-End Close: Assist in closing books, preparing trial balances, and generating financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Fixed Assets & Treasury: Manage fixed asset tracking (CAR), depreciation, and cash forecasting.
- Reporting: Analyze financial data and provide reports to management, including expense reviews and variance analysis.
Job Requirements
- Educational Degree Required: Bachelor’s (in Accounting, Finance, or related field)
- Years of Experience: 2 - 4 Years.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong proficiency in General Ledger (GL) and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Oracle software is a plus.
