Responsibilities

Role Summary: Responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing financial analysis to support management decisions. Oversees budgeting, controls, audits, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Main Responsibilities:

•Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

•Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

•Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

•Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasts

•Monitor accounting data and deliver meaningful financial analysis and reports to management

•Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.

•Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.

•Support tax planning and tax filing processes.

•Support management with financial analysis and decision-making data

•Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations

Qualifications

Years of experience: Solid experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role, ideally within a service company.

Educational Background: degree in Economics (Accounting, Finance) (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred)

Language: Solid in English skills, Arabic: Native

Preferred Skills:

•In-depth understanding of accounting principles, billing cycles, and revenue recognition for services.

•Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.

•Exposure to the Gulf market, with an understanding of its operational or financial dynamics.

•Results-driven with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines

•Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

•Adaptable to changing business needs and capable of driving process improvements.

•Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
