Job Description

We are looking for a General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our team in the Finance Department. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and accurate management of financial transactions and accounts within the company.

• Transaction Management: Recording and verifying all financial transactions, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassification.
• Account Reconciliation: Balancing and reconciling various accounts, including bank accounts, balance sheets, and inter-company accounts.
• Journal Entries: Preparing and posting accurate journal entries into the accounting system.
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports.
• Month/Year-End Close: Supporting and executing the monthly and annual closing processes.
• Fixed Assets: Maintaining the fixed asset ledger and related reporting.
• Tax & Audit Support: Assisting with sales/use tax filings, internal audits, and external audits.
• Analysis: Analyzing financial data, investigating variances, and providing insights to management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree: in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Experience in AP, AR, or bookkeeping can be entry-level, with more senior roles requiring specific GL experience.
