Job Description

Giza Spinning and Weaving is seeking a highly experienced financial auditor to oversee and validate our financial operations. With 15 to 20 years of expertise, the successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards (EAS/IFRS), and the efficiency of financial reporting within a large-scale industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Statements Audit: Conduct thorough examinations of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to ensure 100% accuracy.

Manufacturing Cost Audit: Validate production costs, inventory valuations (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), and overhead allocations specific to the textile industry.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with Egyptian tax laws and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

External Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies during year-end or quarterly reviews.

Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Review budget execution and analyze variances between actual financial performance and forecasted figures.

Fixed Assets Audit: Oversee the auditing of high-value industrial machinery and capital expenditures (CAPEX).

Job Requirements

Experience: 15 – 20 years in financial auditing, with at least 10 years in the industrial/manufacturing sector.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Professional certifications like CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) are highly preferred for this seniority level.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the financial cycles in large manufacturing firms (Spinning, Weaving, or Garments is a plus).

Technical Skills: Professional proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
