Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and input all accounting entries into the company’s accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Prepare comprehensive accounting reports and deliver timely financial insights to the CFO.
- Implement and monitor procedures for recording, classifying, summarizing, and disclosing financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and adjusting payroll lists, payment slips, and related tax obligations (including income tax on salaries, VAT, and NSSF).
- Maintain organized accounting records, backups, and supporting documentation in a secure environment.
- Review, reconcile, and adjust bank accounts and supplier accounts as needed.
- Perform and supervise clerical and administrative duties within the Accounting Department.
- Manage invoicing, payments, and collections to ensure smooth cash flow operations.
- Oversee bank transactions and payments to suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Draft and manage contracts related to financial and operational activities
