Accountant – Luxury Retail
A leading bespoke tailoring and textile company with multiple retail branches across Dubai, is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This role requires a hands-on professional who understands retail + manufacturing operations, inventory-heavy businesses, VAT compliance, and financial discipline across multi-branch environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Controls
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, POS reconciliation, Purchase entries, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
Monitor petty cash and implement strong internal control systems.
Ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation between POS systems and accounting software.
Strengthen fraud prevention and financial governance across branches.
2. Multi-Branch Financial Monitoring
Consolidate financial data from all retail branches and workshop operations.
Prepare branch-wise Profit & Loss statements and performance reports.
Identify revenue leakages, margin inconsistencies, and operational inefficiencies.
3. Inventory & Cost Accounting
Manage inventory accounting for fabrics, accessories, and finished garments.
Monitor stock movement between workshop and branches.
Evaluate COGS and conduct margin analysis.
Perform monthly stock audits and variance reconciliation.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time.
Assist with Corporate Tax reporting and documentation.
Liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
5. Payroll & HR Financial Administration
Oversee payroll processing for all branches.
Ensure WPS compliance, gratuity calculations, and final settlements.
6. Audit, Reporting & Strategic Contribution
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop management reports and financial dashboards.
Support Directors in budgeting, forecasting, and expansion planning.
Provide financial insights to improve profitability and cash flow.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
We are looking for a professional who combines technical expertise with strong financial judgment and business awareness:
Minimum 5–7 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in retail, textile, garments, or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, reporting models, dashboards).
Experience with Zoho Books, Tally, or similar ERP systems.
Solid understanding of inventory accounting and cost management.
Experience managing multi-branch financial structures.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify financial risks and inefficiencies.
High level of integrity and strong internal control orientation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with management and operational teams.
Experience supervising or guiding junior accountants is an advantage.
ERP migration or system improvement experience is a plus.
