Cost Accountant – Restaurants Location: 10th of Ramadan City – Egypt A leading company in the restaurant industry is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant with proven experience in restaurants. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze food & beverage cost reports. Calculate item costs and monitor waste, loss, and variance. Control inventory and reconcile it with actual consumption. Analyze cost variances between actual and standard costs. Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams to control expenses. Review menu pricing and ensure target profit margins are achieved. Prepare periodic financial and cost reports for management. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, or a related field.2–4 years of experience as a Cost Accountant in the restaurant industry (mandatory). Strong knowledge of inventory systems and recipe costing. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
