Your Mission

You will responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely statutory reporting, and full compliance with Lebanese tax and social security regulations.

The role supports month-end and year-end closings, maintains strong internal controls, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial integrity across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

Accounting Operations:

  • Record and process supplier payments and manage Accounts Payable transactions


  • Reconcile supplier statements with company records and investigate discrepancies


  • Oversee and reconcile petty cash and ensure compliance with internal policies


  • Review, process, and reconcile employee travel expense reports


  • Manage employee reimbursements in line with company procedures


General Ledger & Closing:

  • Maintain accurate General Ledger records


  • Check journal entries, accruals, and adjustments


  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within set deadlines


  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank, prepaid, and accrued accounts


Tax & Statutory Compliance:

  • Prepare Lebanese statutory declarations, including:


    • Value Added Tax (VAT)


    • Corporate Income Tax (CIT)


    • Non resident Tax (NRT)


    • National Social Security Fund (NSSF) declarations


  • Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with Ministry of Finance requirements


  • Maintain proper tax documentation and support tax audits when required


Controls, Reporting & Audit Support

  • Maintain effective internal controls over accounting transactions


  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits


  • Assist in improving accounting processes, procedures, and controls


  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


  • MBA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage


  • Between 5 and 8 years of relevant accounting experience


  • Proven experience in Lebanese tax and NSSF declarations (mandatory)


  • Experience working in an international or multi-site organization is a strong plus


  • Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting and tax regulations


  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 or equivalent preferred)


  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools


  • High attention to details


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities


  • Strong organizational and communication skills


  • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
