We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Accountant to oversee financial management of projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring project profitability and supporting management with financial insights.
Key Duties and Responsbilities
Prepare and manage project budgets in coordination with project managers.
Monitor project costs, expenses, and revenue to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Track and record all project-related financial transactions.
Prepare periodic financial reports for each project (cost reports, variance analysis, cash flow forecasts).
Review and verify project invoices, subcontractor payments, and supplier payments.
Ensure proper allocation of costs to respective projects.
Analyze project profitability and highlight financial risks.
Support internal and external audits related to project accounts.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
Assist in monthly closing activities and reconciliation of project accounts.
Coordinate with procurement, operations, and engineering teams regarding project financial matters.
