A leading company in the food and beverages industry is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join their financial team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and managing costs associated with food and beverage production, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses, and contributing to overall financial management and profitability strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze standard costs for food and beverage products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Monitor production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring product quality.
Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual costs to standard costs, and investigate discrepancies.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost data and insights.
Collaborate with operational teams to understand cost drivers and improve operational efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports related to cost accounting.
Maintain accurate cost accounting records and reports to support decision-making.
Assist in inventory valuation and management, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
Evaluate and enhance internal controls related to cost accounting processes.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation regarding costing methods and accuracy.
Attractive Package Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in the food and beverages industry.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems and cost accounting software.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
