• Description:

  Overview Our client is a leading company specializing in projects in commercial and residential construction. Operating within the Engineering Consultancy & Construction industry, they provide a one-stop solution from design through high-quality execution. We are seeking a disciplined Accountant to support the finance function by maintaining accurate records and ensuring project margin integrity in a VAT-registered environment.

  
  Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Governance & Controls: Execute daily activities in line with approval matrices and maintain audit-ready files with clear traceability.
    

    
    

  • Accounts Payable (AP): Validate supplier invoices for VAT compliance and apply correct coding to GL accounts and cost centers to protect project margins.
    

    
    

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) & Invoicing: Prepare VAT-compliant invoices aligned with construction project milestones and manage collections to accelerate cash conversion.
    

    
    

  • VAT & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain documentation discipline across sales/purchase cycles and support ZATCA audit readiness.
    

    
    

  • Month-End Close: Prepare core reconciliations (Bank, AR/AP, Accruals) and ensure closing checklists are completed on time with clean evidence.
    

    
    

  • Construction Project Accounting: Maintain project setup/cost codes and track allocations to ensure visibility of direct versus indirect costs.
    

    
    

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Resolve documentation gaps and invoice queries with project teams, suppliers, and customers efficiently.
    

    
    
  Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    

    
    

  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, specifically within project-based or construction environments.
    

    
    

  • Certification: Must be registered in SOCPA and authorized to practice accountancy in KSA.
    

    
    

  • Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English.

    
    

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using accounting/ERP systems.
    

    
    

  • Location: Based Inside Saudi Arabia (Riyadh).

    
    

  • Availability: Joining time of 30 days maximum.

    
    
  Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Package: SAR 12,000 monthly.

    
    

  • Working Days: 5 days per week.

    
    
  Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Owner.
