Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alexandria, Egypt for a Cost Accountant. The main responsibilities include preparing and analyzing cost reports, creating and reviewing financial statements, overseeing journal entries, and supporting the finance team with financial planning and cost control. The Cost Accountant will work closely with other departments to optimize budgeting, project costing, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Cost Accounting and Journal Entries (Accounting) Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements Exceptional Analytical Skills to assess financial performance and identify cost optimization opportunities Solid foundation in Finance concepts and practices Proficiency with accounting software and relevant tools Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Prior experience in a similar role in the transportation or logistics industry is an advantage Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
