Job :

Accounting Management and Closings
• Ensure monthly accounting closings for the group's various entities (real estate and agricultural divisions).
• Supervise the maintenance of general and analytical accounting.
• Prepare monthly and annual summary statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, appendices, and accounting file) for the group's various subsidiaries.
• Guarantee the reliability of accounts and carry out complete accounting reviews.
• Ensure the correct application of the Moroccan chart of accounts and current accounting standards.
Tax Management
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
• Prepare, verify, and supervise tax declarations (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.).
• Ensure tax deadlines are met and declarations are compliant.
• Participate in tax optimization in compliance with Moroccan legislation.
• Manage relations with the tax authorities (DGI).
Control and Organization
• Be responsible for the correct accounting and analytical allocation of expenses.
• Establish, formalize, and update accounting and tax procedures.
• Prepare files for statutory auditors and external audits.
Management
• Supervise and manage a team of accountants.
• Ensure task allocation and monitor team performance.
• Train and support employees in respecting good accounting and tax practices.
 

Required profile :

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and taxation, including at least 3 to 5 years as Chief Accountant or in an equivalent position with responsibilities for supervision and account closing.
• Confirmed experience in the real estate sector is highly desirable, ideally with management of real estate projects, land companies, or property development.
• Previous experience in a renowned accounting or trust firm is an asset to ensure mastery of accounting and tax standards.
• Complete mastery of accounting review, summary statements, and Moroccan tax forms.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and file tax declarations independently, and to manage relationships with the DGI and statutory auditors.
• Successful experience in managing an accounting team and implementing reliable financial and tax procedures.
