Job :

We are recruiting for one of our clients, an industrial company in the TAC area of Tangier, a Chief Accountant. This is a unique opportunity to lead the financial function of a growing company and actively contribute to its success.

As Chief Accountant, your main goals will be to ensure the reliability and relevance of financial information, optimize accounting processes, and participate in the company's financial strategy. You will be a key player in decision-making by providing accurate analyses and informed advice.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing treasury, handling taxes and declarations, and developing budgets. You will also be responsible for managing an accounting team and working closely with other departments to ensure financial objectives align with the overall company strategy. Continuous improvement of procedures and optimization of accounting tools will also be part of your daily tasks.

• Supervise the entry and control of accounting operations.
  
• Prepare and analyze annual accounts and financial reports.
  
• Manage relationships with auditors and tax authorities.
  
• Implement and monitor financial performance indicators.
  
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to current accounting standards.
  

Required profile :

You hold a Baccalaureate degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.

With at least 8 years of experience in accounting and financial roles, you have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Your technical skills in general and analytical accounting are strong. You are proficient in computer tools and accounting software. Your ability to manage a team, your rigor, your organizational skills, and your interpersonal skills are assets that will enable you to succeed in this role. Good command of foreign languages would be a plus.
