We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the events or entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of project-based accounting and vendor/client management.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
  

  
  
  

• Prepare financial statements, cash flow projections, and monthly management reports.
  

  
  
  

• Track and report on event-specific budgets, expenses, and profitability.
  

  
  
  

• Ensure accurate invoicing to clients and timely payments to vendors/suppliers.
  

  
  
  

• Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  

  
  
  

• Coordinate with event managers and production teams on project costing.
  

  
  
  

• Monitor cash flow, forecast expenditures, and recommend financial actions.
  

  
  
  

• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  

  
  
  

• Oversee junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
  

  
  
  

• Implement and improve internal financial controls and systems.
  

  
  
  

Requirements

• 
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus).
  

  
  
  

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Trading industry.
  

  
  
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, UAE VAT laws, and IFRS.
  

  
  
  

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP).
  

  
  
  

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  

  
  
  

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
