Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join a financial consultancy firm in Egypt.

This role is focused on handling internal accounting operations, financial reporting, and supporting clients with structured financial data and insights. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on accounting experience in corporate or consultancy environments, with a strong understanding of financial processes — not audit fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries Prepare financial statements and periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) Handle accounts payable and receivable processes Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis Support budgeting and financial planning activities Assist in preparing financial reports for clients and management Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and financial standards Organize and maintain financial documentation and records Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors when required

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–5 years of accounting experience in corporate or financial environments Background in auditing firms is not required and not preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Good knowledge of tax regulations in Egypt Proficiency in Excel Experience with accounting systems or ERP tools is a plus Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills Good command of English
