Manage a portfolio of UAE-based clients, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day accounting and reporting matters
Prepare statutory financial statements, management accounts, and quarterly / annual reports in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements
Oversee and review bookkeeping and accounting work prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
Ensure accurate maintenance of client ledgers, including GL reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end / year-end close processes
Prepare and review management reporting, KPIs, and ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by clients or internal stakeholders
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams to support audits, reviews, and regulatory filings
Ensure client financial records and reports comply with UAE legislation, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards
Monitor and maintain consistency of client financial data across internal systems, accounting software, and reporting tools
Review and sign off bank, intercompany, receivable, payable, and other key account reconciliations
Supervise, guide, and support junior accountants, including on-the-job training and technical review
Proactively identify issues, risks, or inefficiencies and communicate clearly with clients, offering practical solutions
Support internal process improvements and contribute to maintaining high service standards across the client accounting function
