تفاصيل الوظيفةWe are seeking an Accounting and Finance Specialist who is required to take full ownership of the financial operations of a growing startup. This role is both strategic and hands on, responsible for maintaining financial control, ensuring compliance, and providing clear visibility on business performance.

The successful candidate will operate independently, act as a key advisor to the owner, and contribute to the commercial growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

Oversee all day to day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, billing, receipts, and expense tracking.

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Maintain accurate and up to date financial records

Compliance and Tax

Handle TRN registration and management

Prepare and submit VAT returns

Manage corporate tax requirements and filings

Ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations

Reporting and Performance

Prepare regular profit and loss reports

Monitor cash flow and profitability

Provide clear financial reporting and insights to the owner

Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost control

Administration and Operations

Open and close the office as required

Answer calls and handle basic client or supplier queries

Maintain organised financial documentation and systems

Commercial and Team Support

Support business growth through financial planning and input

Collaborate with new and existing team members

Contribute to a professional, high standard working environment

Assist with basic sales support where required

Key Requirements

Experience and Skills

Proven experience in accounting and finance, ideally within a startup or SME environment

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, accounting software, and general IT systems

Ability to produce accurate financial reports and interpret data

Personal Attributes

Excellent communication skills with fluent English

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Able to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities

Professional, polished, and high standard in presentation and conduct

Commercially aware with a proactive approach to improving profitability

Confident in handling responsibility and making decisions

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional certification.
