Job Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial planning, and assisting in HR and payroll-related activities.
1- Accounting Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards, as well as tax regulations.
- Handle tax filings, VAT returns, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor fixed assets, inventory, depreciation, and cost allocations.
- Maintain strong internal controls and continuously improve accounting procedures.
2- Financial Support:
- Assist in budget preparation, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting.
- Track project costs and support cost control and profitability analysis.
- Prepare financial reports for management review and decision-making.
3- HR & Payroll Support:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support compensation structures, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Assist management with HR policies and labor law compliance.
- Coordinate with HR or management on recruitment and performance evaluation processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and basic HR functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
