Job Description

• Joe’s Venture is currently looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Cairo.
• Location: Cairo
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Days Off: 2 days per week
• Key Responsibilities:
•  Record daily financial transactions accurately.
•  Prepare bank and treasury reports.
•  Review and reconcile sales sheets.
•  Follow up on revenues, costs, and supplier accounts.
•  Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of financial records.

Job Requirements

• Experience That Excites: Possess 2-4 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial operations.
• Educational Prowess: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Mastery of Core Skills: Proven expertise in Accounting principles, robust experience with General Ledger (GL) management, and hands-on proficiency with Odoo ERP are non-negotiable.
• Analytical Acumen: Strong capabilities in Financial Reporting, Reconciliation, and Financial Analysis are essential.
• Operational Excellence: Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Toolbelt Essentials: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Compliance Champion: Understanding of and experience with Tax Compliance is a significant advantage.
• Detail-Oriented & Problem Solver: Exceptional Attention to Detail and proven Problem-Solving skills to tackle complex financial challenges effectively.
