Responsibilities

Record and review daily journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance Perform cost accounting activities including tracking production costs, raw materials consumption, and labor costs Manage accounts receivable and payable, including follow-ups and reconciliations Monitor cash flow, collections, and payments Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prepare periodic financial reports (revenue, expenses, variance analysis) Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements Handle tax filings (VAT, payroll tax, stamp tax) in compliance with Egyptian regulations Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records Support internal and external audits Ensure adherence to financial policies and internal controls Process payroll, including salaries, incentives, deductions, and allowances Prepare payment vouchers and collection receipts Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Previous experience in the garment or fashion manufacturing industry is a strong advantage5 years of experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles Good knowledge of Egyptian tax laws Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (very important) Experience with ERP systems is a plus
