Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities.
• Manage general ledger functions and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements for management review.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the optimization of accounting operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English Commerce or Business administration. 
• 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a large organization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
