Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key energy sector clients, serving as their trusted strategic partner and leveraging deep industry expertise to address their unique business challenges
- Create and execute comprehensive strategic account plans designed to maximize revenue opportunities and client satisfaction, incorporating energy sector market trends, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing energy accounts through consultative selling, innovative solutions, and deep understanding of energy industry dynamics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and support to ensure seamless project delivery and client success, translating energy sector requirements into actionable solutions
- Conduct regular client meetings and deliver compelling presentations that communicate value propositions, ROI, and strategic recommendations tailored to energy sector priorities and regulatory environments
- Monitor account performance metrics, analyze energy market trends and competitive activities, and track industry regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging opportunities
- Negotiate contracts, manage pricing discussions, and resolve conflicts or issues with professionalism and transparency, applying energy sector contract expertise and compliance knowledge
- Mentor and support junior account managers, fostering their professional development in energy sector account management and contributing to team growth and industry expertise
- Maintain detailed account records and utilize CRM software to track interactions, opportunities, and outcomes specific to energy sector clients and market conditions
- Stay current with energy sector trends, best practices, emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and market dynamics relevant to account management and our industry focus
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations informed by energy sector insights and market analysis

**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in account management, business development, or a similar client-facing role
- Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in the energy sector (oil & gas, renewable energy, utilities, or related energy industries)
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing high-value client accounts and achieving revenue targets
- Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Proficiency with CRM software and other relevant business tools and platforms
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to drive business decisions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support business objectives
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- MBA or advanced business certification
- Deep industry-specific knowledge and comprehensive understanding of energy sector market dynamics, regulatory environment, and emerging trends
- Established relationships and network within the energy industry
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
- Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and complex deal closure within the energy sector
- Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and business intelligence platforms
- Experience in a consultative or solution-selling environment
