The Chief Accountant at Cardoo Technologies is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making.
This role plays a key part in managing financial reporting, cost control, and compliance within a dynamic tech and retail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all accounting activities, including AP, AR, and General Ledger Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Monitor company financial performance and provide actionable insights to management Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and expense control (especially for production and technology costs) Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards Handle tax filings, audits, and financial reviews Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial planning Collaborate with different departments to support business growth and cost optimization Ensure accurate and efficient use of ERP systems (Odoo) Competitive salary and compensation package Career growth opportunities within a fast-growing company Exposure to strategic and high-level financial decision-making Collaborative and dynamic work environment Stability with structured working hours (5 days/week, weekends off) Opportunity to work in the New Cairo business hub Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail, technology, or consumer electronics industries Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis Solid knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proven track record and good reputation within the retail field Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred
